Wildflower by Drew Barrymore

Every once in a while you want to read a book that takes little effort and one you can pick up at anytime. Well, this was that book. I actually listened to the audio version, as I always enjoy autobiographies that are narrated by the author.

This is an unconventional ‘autobiography’ of Drew Barrymore. Told in short stories, this book reflects upon different times in her life, from starring in the blockbuster ET at the age of 6, to having her own children. As the audio book was read by Drew Barrymore herself, you instantly feel connected to her stories and she has a way of mesmerising the reader.

Whilst in my opinion, this book isn’t going to win any awards, I still enjoyed listening to it.
